This is a result from their synergic ability to share their know-how in designing pneumatic and electrical components that can be integrated in intelligent systems.
As Marco Camozzi - Managing Director of Camozzi Automation - explains: “One of our main strengths in developing smart solutions for Industry 4.0 lies above all in the ability to transform, in real time through sophisticated proprietary algorithms, the information gathered by enabling technologies into detailed diagnostic reports. Thanks to these reports, customers can constantly monitor the performance of production processes, planning maintenance activities more effectively and efficiently, while significantly reducing downtimes and operating costs.
Every single datum collected through our systems becomes the lifeblood used to implement the MES (Manufacturing Execution System), the computerised system that controls and manages the company's production cycles and aspects, with a triple objective:
- optimise the process and quality of finished Camozzi products
- implement ever more precise and reliable calculation algorithms
- provide the clients with a real added value in digitalisation of their internal processes.”
For the Camozzi Group, Camozzi Digital represents the solution provider of a customised MES, strongly integrated with the machines, even the oldest ones (the so-called brown field), which typically do not expose significant data to production control.
Besides the manual declarations of the machine's operators, there are proprietary modules for the direct connection to the machines themselves (PLC / Scada), to provide more information and a complete view of the production departments, of resources and materials used, with a tight integration with the corporate ERP or management system.
Camozzi’s special end-to-end Cyber-Physical systems integrate sensors and intelligent components that are able to transmit complex process data to management systems and the cloud, through an IIoT Gateway.
